A MESSAGE FROM OUR FRIENDS AT TSHA:

Thanks to the dedication of our staff and Board of Directors, the support and encouragement received from our members and donors, and our partnerships with like-minded organizations such as the East Texas Historical Association, the Texas State Historical Association’s 125th year has been full of successes.

These include: a welcome return to in-person events, including our 126th Annual Meeting, the 42nd Texas History Day and 19th San Jacinto Symposium; the launches of our redesigned MyTSHA/Digital Library portal and TSHA website; a reboot of our Texas Talks programs, through which 7 diverse topics were presented virtually; the highest number of new Handbook of Texas entries added in a single year (207); and a special anniversary issue of the Southwestern Historical Quarterly, the oldest continuously published historical journal in the United States, that examines the journal’s 125-year evolution.

We look forward to the next 125 years and
congratulate ETHA on its 60th birthday! Visit TSHA on the web.
